*** Event is CLOSED, see everyone tonight! ***
UPDATE #6: Please TIP YOUR BARTENDERS! We've recruited some great bartenders, who could be working elsewhere tonight... so please show your appreciation! Also, I've been told one of the coat racks broke... so if you come with friends, see if you can double up on hangers... or if you feel you can brave the weather (it's been pretty nice lately), even better. Thanks so much... looking forward to what should be a great Lunar New Year celebration!
UPDATE #5: This is looking to be a good one! Spread the word, come on out, dance, drink, have fun, and celebrate the beginning of the Ox year with us THIS Saturday! =)
UPDATE #4: Starting Sun, Jan 18 to be fair to those who want to join in and are ready to make payment, I'll be unrsvp'ing those that haven't paid. So make payment to *truly* lock in your spot... and since we're approaching full capacity, for any new rsvp's, please make payment immediately.
UPDATE #3: Jin, one of our long time members (and owner of Sweet Dreams Studio), will graciously be taking photos! If you've never seen his work, it's amazing. He does great wedding, event, and portrait work... and offers referral bonus for weddings... so if you ever have a need, def. reach out to him.
UPDATE #2: Don't forget, early bird pricing ends THIS Sat., so make sure to pay before then to lock in early bird pricing. DJ Humz (same DJ who spun for us at our NYE Mansion party) will make sure we keep going all night!
UPDATE #1: Don't forget, early bird pricing ends next Sun.

Out with the Rat, in with the Ox! 2009 is the year of the Ox, which signifies "new beginnings and durability." New beginnings, you say? Durability huh? Alrighty then, let's test our "durability" by celebrating the incoming Ox year all night long... whaddya say?
I've rented out a little spot for us Sat. night (9:30pm - 2am), Jan. 24th... on the third floor. We'll have open bar (cocktails, beers, and wine) *all* night! Ages 21+ only.
We'll also have our own DJ spinning lively beats to get you dancing! Not to mention, I've secured lion dancers for us as well. Plus, we'll also have Tai Chi demonstrations being performed!
We've got an early bird special for this event. From now until January 18th, the price is only a Jackson + a Lincoln, yup $25! After that, it will go up to $35 dollars.
Secure your slot by rsvp'ing yes *and* making payment! So spread the word, come on out, and let's have a great night of dancing, drinks, and fun! =)

For those that don't know, the lion dance (舞獅) is a traditional dance, in which performers mimic a lion's movements in a lion costume... and is used to drive away evil spirits or bad energy, as well as to summon luck and fortune.

Tai Chi or Taiji (太極) is a slow form of exercise often practiced for health reasons. It balances the connection of the mind with various components of the body.

Nearest Metro stops are Archives-Navy Memorial-Penn Quarter (Yellow, Green lines) 1 block away, and Gallery Place-Chinatown (Red, Green, Yellow lines) 2 blocks away. I suggest Metro / cabbing if you can. I also recommend using wmata for travel planning.

Since we've paid in advance for this charter, and since there are limited seats, all sales are final. If you can't make it, we'll help you find a replacement. Hopefully you understand we can't have people cancelling and requesting a refund, when that spot could have been filled by others. Thanks for understanding. =)
