It is the last week to catch any of the summer concerts at Ft. Reno! So come and enjoy three different bands: The Public Good, The Black Sparks, and Dot Dash.

As Ft. Reno is the highest point in the city just one block from Tenleytown-AU Metro stop, there is also a beautiful sunset.

They start playing at 7pm and end at 9:30pm. We will meet at 6:30. Outside the exit for Whole Foods on Ft. Drive (the back entrance). Bring blankets and picnic items!

Parking is free after 630 at the meters. Also, there is parking on the other side of the park by the school (off Nebraska Ave).

Smaller meetup crowd then expected, but an awesome kid band got a hilarious mosh pit going!
    •  The music was enjoyable, however, I found this group an hour before the event and when I read the details, I was confused about where the "back entrance of Whole Foods" was so I got some food and went to the park which i had trouble finding. I didn't know where the group cluster was, but I did listen to the music.
    •  There were a bunch of teenagers there. IN fact one of the bands was made up of screaming pre-teens. Fun for what it was though. Wear bugspray!
    •  Friendly conversation with great people with pleasant music in beautiful whether. By far the best part of the evening was when the Black Sparks, a punk rock band w/ a 10-yrs-old frontman, came on stage. The place went wild and the 7 yr olds started to bump around in the mosh pit. I took many pictures.
    •  Good people, good time. Thanks again for arranging this!
    •  it was a pleasant suprise - the weather was beautiful, the park was beautiful, the mango sorbet was delicious, and the black sparks were AWESOME!
