UPDATE #5: I sent an email to all with how to find me on Saturday. Again, I ask if you are not attending to please update your rsvp so I have an accurate number to look for. See you Saturday! biggrin

UPDATE #4: Tickets are now SOLD OUT! If you did not donate in time for your ticket you can still attend the exclusive after party at Sutra Lounge in Adams Morgan starting at 10pm. Entrance fee is only $5! Donations are still welcomed. Remember this is a cocktail event so ladies dress to impress!

UPDATE #3: Okay ladies, now is the time to get your tickets! There are still tickets available for this exclusive event. I think it would be fun if we all wear something pink for the evening since the charity is for breast cancer! It will also help in finding one another throughout the evening :) There will also be an after-party at Sutra Lounge where we can mingle with the models and organizers of the event!

UPDATE #2: I will be at the Muse happy hour THIS Thursday Feb 18 if anyone is interested in getting together so we can meet each other over a few drinks. Tickets are still available or if you can't attend donations are always welcome!

UPDATE #1: Ladies, if you have not done so please make your donation quickly to be able to enter the event. I have been told there are only 20 tickets available! For more information on the organization and the vendors click here... http://www.facebook.c... . This is going to an awesome evening!

FETE OF FASHION
to benefit Capital Breast Care Center with Michelle Fenty

Ladies, let's get together for a fun night out while supporting a worthy cause!

Hosted by Fashion Fix, Fete of Fashion is an exclusive night of fashion, live music and philanthropy to support the Capital Breast Care Center... http://www.capitalbre....

Fashion Fix was started by Tu-Anh Ha in early 2009. As an aspiring non-profit, Fashion Fix's mission is to raise awareness for specific philanthropies through fashion and the arts.

Capital Breast Care Center is the only community-based breast cancer screening clinic in the DC metropolitan area-perhaps the nation-that provides screening and navigation services to women, regardless of their ability to pay--and they need our support.

The guest of honor is Michelle Cross Fenty, President of Capital Breast Care Center Advisory Council and DC's First Lady. Fashion Fix hosts a fabulous night of shopping and music at Rue 14 Boutique. Bring your girlfriends, mom, or sister out and share a chic evening together for a cause.

find more of your images here at metromix: http://dc.metromix.com/even... It was great seeing you ladies and I thank you for attending our charity event. You've changed the lives of 50 women thanks to your donations of over $3,000. I hope you all had a great time! My only regret is that I did not get a chance to be more personable with my guests as I was so busy the whole night. Thank you again ladies!

Great, let's do Masa 14 at 5pm. I will still be in front of the shop at 5:45pm for those that can't join us. I bought something new so I will be in a white and purple floral dress and a tan trench coat. See you there!

Hey Ladies, I think it's a great idea, as Kelly suggested, to meet before the event, if we can. Going in as a group will be great! What to wear? I am going through my closet right now and realize I may have to get something new!!! Trying to find something pink to wear is not that easy right now, but I will do my best to come in something pink, if not, oh well, I tried!! I really look forward to all the fun and excitement as well as meeting everyone in the group.

Kelly, it would be a great idea to get together before the show. I like Tu Anh Ha's idea of going to Masa 14, which is just nearby, so we can stick around until the show starts. But you can let me know. I'll give you a call tomorrow. See you there.

May I also suggest Masa 14, which is a couples of doors down from Rue 14 and has the most amazing appetizers and drinks? Not to mention they are our hordeurve sponsor for the event.

Kelly, I wonder whether Boutique 14 will be open earlier. I have some stuff to do in DC before the show and I'll be done by 4. But since I live in Frederick, I won't have time to drive back and forth from Frederick to DC. If you have any suggestions on what to do in the mean time, let me know. Thanks. Can't wait either.

Pink actually doesn't look good on me so I'm having a hard time finding something but I still want to incorporate something pink in my outfit. I will be wearing a dress appropriate for a cocktail party. I'm so excited! Plus I found out that in our goody bag is a gift certificate for a free microdermabrasion session! Whoo-hoo!

Kelly asked us to wear pink, but I don't have anything pink to dress to impress with, so I'm just gonna wear a black, red, and gold outfit, which I believe would be appropriate for a cocktail party.
