Our happy hour will benefit the Yellow Ribbon Fund... http://www.yellowribb... ... a non-profit organization providing volunteer services to injured service members and to their families... suggested $5 or $10 donation. Please note 80% of donations go to the Yellow Ribbon Fund and 20% of donations will go to the 20s & 30s Going Out Group to cover Meetup fees and expenses. Other groups that will be joining us:

DJ Saam will be spinning loungy groovy beats for us. Our happy hours typically bring out 150 - 200 folks... and I wouldn't be surprised with a similar turnout this time around.

If you haven't been there before, Lotus is a trendy lounge that flaunts florid architecture and a soothing ambiance!

To help continue the friendly tone of this group... I'd like to again encourage each person to have a GOAL OF MEETING 3 NEW PEOPLE at this event. To help do this, for an icebreaker, we'll put your name in a jar as you walk in, and then give you someone else's name from the jar. Also, 20s & 30s Rockstars, please help make all the newcomers feel welcome to our group!

Closest Metro is McPherson Square (Orange and Blue lines), I suggest metro / cabbing it (esp. during rush hour). I also recommend using wmata for travel plans.
